Obergurgl  /  Hochgurgl

Obergurgl is located an hour and a half's drive from Innsbruck. The resort is a beautiful little skiing village at the foot of Festkogl's 3035m peak. The resort is linked with nearby Hochgurgl, which together offer 110km of piste. The snow coverage is excellent and reliable but there are also snow making facilities which cover 18km of runs.

There is a good spread of runs mainly for the beginners and intermediates and a handful of blacks for the experts. The runs are very open and obstacle free, which is a bonus to carving snowboarders who will also enjoy the countless power stashes.

The area offers a varied nightlife with live music, discos and various bars.

The resort also has much to offer away from the slopes, including bowling, skating and snowshoe walks. Late night skiing is also available.
