Verbier is located 2 hours from Geneva and 1 hour from Sion. The famous resort is at the centre of the 4 valleys ski area, which contains 400km of piste including 30km of snowmaking. There is also excellent off-piste on offer, over 40km of cross-country and one glacier. Snowboarders may have heard of the Verbier extreme competition held here regularly, there is also a board park to enjoy as well as everything a boarder of any ability could want.

The cosmopolitan village offers numerous classy boutiques, restaurants and bars which give a vibrant après ski scene. The resort is also renowned for a good ski school and child care, which makes it an instant hit with families.

On the activity front Verbier offers a full sports centre including indoor tennis, curling, cinema and snowshoeing.
