Vail is located in the centre of the American Rockies, 100 miles west of Denver and its International Airport.

With over 41 seasons of experience dating from 1962, Vail has everything for the perfect holiday. Vail is the largest ski resort in North America with 5,289 acres and 34 strategically placed lifts. The mountains cover beginner to advanced skiers and boarders with easy, smooth, and gentile slopes to heavy moguls, bowls and glades. With a resort so big it's reported that on a busy day there are as few as four people per acre!

Vail offers snowboarders a huge variety from freeriding to freestyle terrain. Snowboarders are also welcome to ride anywhere on the mountains at Vail with no limitations. Vail also offers extensive telemark Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing and snow shoeing.
